Math Adventure (Rekenavontuur in Dutch) is a calm, colourful arithmetic game: just practice and a bit of fun, without the noise most children’s games come with.
Who it’s for
Children of about 6 to 9 who are learning to add, subtract, multiply and divide, and parents who want screen time that is actually practice. Number bonds work the way they are taught at school.
Features
- Number Chains. Solve the sum on the big number pad; get it right and the answer becomes the first number of the next sum. So 3 + 4 = 7 is followed by 7 − 2, and the chain keeps going.
- Number Bonds (splitting). 10 = 4 + ?, with 5, 10 or a surprise number. The filled-in side keeps swapping, so both directions get practised. Ten right in a row earns a golden trophy.
- Grows with your child. Set the highest number anywhere from 5 to 100, and pick which operations come up: plus, minus, times, divide, alone or mixed.
- Gentle with beginners. A wrong answer costs nothing: no countdown, no lives, no game over.
- Four languages: Dutch, English, French and Spanish. Handy in bilingual families: they already know the maths, so the words follow.
- Plays on iPhone, iPad and Android phones and tablets.
Free on the App Store, a one-off purchase on Google Play. No in-app purchases.
Privacy
Math Adventure collects nothing and sends nothing anywhere. The Android app declares no permissions at all, not even internet access, and the iPhone and iPad app contains no networking code. No accounts, no ads, no analytics, no crash reporting. It only remembers its settings (the highest number, the operations and the language) on the device; scores and progress aren’t saved. The details are in the privacy policy.
