Brush Buddy turns the nightly negotiation over toothbrushing into something a child wants to finish. A cheerful cartoon tooth sits in the middle of the screen, covered in little germs, and gets cleaner and happier as they brush.

## Who it's for

Young children who are learning to brush properly, and the parent standing next to them at the sink. It is meant to be used together, on a phone or tablet propped up in the bathroom.

## Features

- **Two minutes, properly split.** Six steps around the mouth: 25 seconds for each back corner, where brushing is usually rushed, and 10 seconds each for the top and bottom front. A ring of teeth lights up to show where to brush now.
- **The forgotten surfaces too.** Short cues cycle through outsides, chewing tops and insides.
- **Germs that pop.** Each section's germs vanish as it gets its time, so progress is something a child can see.
- **A reward worth finishing for.** At the end the chosen buddy bursts onto the screen: a tooth fairy, a girl or boy dentist, or a girl or boy superhero.
- **A quiet streak.** Days in a row and stars, as encouragement. Nothing is ever taken away.
- **Made to suit your child.** Nine colour schemes, five characters, sound on or off, and a calm mode without the buzzing and the livelier animation.
- **Four languages:** English, Dutch, French and Spanish.

## Privacy

Brush Buddy collects nothing and sends nothing anywhere. The Android app doesn't even ask for internet access, so the operating system itself stops it from going online, and the iPhone and iPad app contains no networking code. No accounts, no ads, no analytics, no crash reporting. The streak, the stars and your settings stay on the device, and uninstalling the app removes them.
